Raise money to continue a show? They cancel it.
Sign petitions to continue a show? They cancel it.
Beg streaming platforms to pick up a cancelled show? They say ‘no’.
Explain how a show means a lot to you? They reply with an automated message because they never read it to begin with.

Well I’m not fighting anymore. I’m not wasting my time and breath on trying to communicate with networks who won’t communicate with us. If we get good news about any of the four shows I mentioned, I’ll help out. But for now, fuck it.
Writing is incredibly difficult to spread, even more so than art, because creative writing cannot be put on a mug or on a t-shirt. Often times, the type of non-professional, unpublished writing most people will read is fanfiction, and to monetize fanfiction—especially fanfiction based on a book franchise—is a one-way ticket to a massive lawsuit on your head. Most people don’t read original works unless those works take off.
So yes. Please do share writing, from poetry to fanfiction and other stuff. Please reblog.
